The Race is going to demand a lot from your body. The importance of what you put in cannot be overstated. The combined effects of adding a training programme for an ultra-endurance event to your normal schedule necessitates a careful assessment of changes to what and when you eat.

The extra energy you will require to effectively train, work and play will be significant. As a result your nutritional plan will ultimately prove every bit as important as your training plan. If you are new to such events we recommend you consult an expert to advise you on a balanced nutritional plan to take you through from the first day to race day.

As with training programmes, no two nutritional programmes will be the same. You need to figure out what works with your lifestyle and budget.
