Gerry Duffy


We are delighted to announce Gerry Duffy as our Irish Male Ambassador for The Race 2014. Gerry hardly needs an introduction at this stage. What he has achieved in the world of endurance sports is staggering. Running a marathon in each of the 32 counties on 32 consecutive days was only the beginning for Gerry. In 2012 Gerry was first of only three finishers in the Deca Enduroman Challenge, ten back to back Ironmen distance races in ten days. Ryan Bennett


We are delighted to announce that Ryan Bennett has been confirmed as The Race International Male ambassador for 2014. Ryan has has placed in the top 10 at some of the world's toughest endurance events and will set an incredibly impressive standard at next years race. Samantha Gash


We are delighted to announce our first ambassador, Samantha Gash, as The Race International Female ambassador for 2014. She is the perfect example of an ordinary person doing extraordinary things. Samantha is truly a legend of ultra racing and her accomplishments are beyond impressive.  Samantha will be a great source of inspiration in the lead up to The Race 2014 and to have her competing in the inaugural running of the event is a massive honour.
