Background

I love the outdoors and spend a lot of my spare time cycling and running in the Wicklow mountains with a few IMRA races thrown in to keep it interesting. Since doing my first Ironman in 2010 I have always been looking for a longer harder challenge that was close to home and when a mate told me about THE RACE I was sold, although I am going to have to brush up on my kayaking skills!

Experience

6 Years of Triathlon races (sprint to Ironman), plus a number of half and full marathons… Highlights include my first marathon in 2009, Ironman France 2010 and the 70.3 Ironman world championships in Las Vegas 2012
