Background (Reasons for attempting The Race)

I heard of the race through my friend John maccormack we both were looking to do something different away from triathlon and ironman with a eye on adventure racing and this ticked all the boxes also excellent that proceeds go to charity rahter than organiser's, makes it so worthwhile as I have raised many thousands through my races for charity

Experience

Come from gaa background and got the bug for running some years back , one thing leading to another I was doing triathlons , lucky enough to have completed some of the toughest ironman events in the world including france , south Africa , twice lanzarote and the prestigious and gruelling enduroman uk , next stop dublin marathon followed by sea 2 summit and all leading to this special event with some of the best endurance athletes in the country and beyond
