Background (Reasons for attempting The Race)

I entered The Race in 2014, and managed to complete it, uncomfortably within the time limit, 23.5 hours. At the time I said "NEVER AGAIN!" but I did enjoy the achievement. So, on mature reflection, would like to give it another crack and see if I can improve on the first one.

Experience

The Race 2014. ..........& that's it, really! a couple of marathons in 2013 and a few half-marathons and occasional cycling sportives
