Background (Reasons for attempting The Race)

Four years ago when I entered a local 48k adventure race, my goal was just to finish as I had only started getting into fitness, but after I completed it I was hooked and just wanted to keep trying bigger challenges. I think The Race is the biggest challenge out there and even just finishing would be an achievement.

Experience

Two Coastal Cancer Challenge, two Gaelforce North races, two Mulroy adventure races, two Dublin City Marathons, two Inishowen 100 mile cycles, Hills of Donegal 100 mile cycle, Glenties Harvest 70 mile cycle, Errigal Harvest 70 mile cycle and two Cara 16k runs.
