I started into racing in 2004 after never taking part in any activity most of my adult life. I entered the Dublin marathon and started training weighting 19 stone. I competed the marathon in 4.35 and moved on from there. After that I got into triathlon got myself a lot fitter and it was life changing. I went on to be a fitness instructor and run a small gym/studio and love every min of it. The reason I entered the Race I competed a few Ironman races over the past few years and looking for a new challenge.
Duathlons/Triathlons, I compete duathlons every year in Ireland. 6-7 Half marathon best 79 min. 8 Marathons best 2.50. 5 Half Ironman distance. 6 Ironman distance races best 9.47. But no Ultra marathon or adventure races.. yet.
