Background (Reasons for attempting The Race)

I have lived in New York for many years so it's nice to come home to do a race like this. Last years race was a new experience for me in Ultra racing. It was my first time cycling at any level and what an introduction that was! Very hard event under harsh conditions. However I did enjoy it and have a greater appreciation and respect for the course. It was an easy and quick decision to come back and try it once more.

Experience

18× Marathons, 4× 50 mile North Face Endurance Challenges, 3× New York City 60Km, 1× 50Km Lake Waramaug Connecticut, 2x Marathon Des Sables
