Background (Reasons for attempting The Race)

In 2009 I was 20 stone in weight and inactive when mysef and my wife had our 3rd child Jack. I was 35 years of age and knew I was going to possibly leave my children without a father present in their lives if I didn't take action. I started to lose weight training for my first event which was dublin marathon completed in 2010. I have since done numerous events and I am now 13 stone and hopefully going to see my kids grow up and be part of that.

Experience

15 Marathons, 2 Half Marathons, 1 Connemara Ultra Marathon, 2 Full Ironman, 2 Half Ironman, Countless Duathlon and Triathlons, I would love to focus on a challenge such as The Race for my 2016 event.
