Background (Reasons for attempting The Race)

I have been taking part in adventure races for the past few years and I am looking for something more challenging. Endurance events suit me as I enjoy the physical challenge but also the mental challenge as well. I've always been a keen runner, representing my club both in cross country and road races for the past 10 years.

Experience

I've taken part in cycling events for the past 8 years, mainly sportives such as the ring of Kerry, an Post cycle series, malin2mizen and long club spins. I have raced numerous Duathlons, adventure races, ran 2 Dublin Marathons and a number of half Marathons.
