Background (Reasons for attempting The Race)

I completed the race in 2014 and it was a great challenge. I couldn't do it due to injury last year but hoping to give it a good crack in 2016. I come from a GAA background and started doing adventure races and running around 2007. I do love a good challenge, and have also climbed in the Alps and many high altitude mountains around the world.

Experience

I've completed 6 Marathons and mountain marathons, with a best time of 2hrs 57. A few half marathons, the Art O Neil four times, Gael Force, Killarney, DAR etc numerous times and of course The Race in 2014.
