Background (Reasons for attempting The Race)

Competed in the 2015 Race and came 9th. It was one of the best and toughest experiences in my life and I really want to experience it again in 2016.

Experience

I took up Ultrarunning 4 years ago, and love to push the boundaries of how far I can go!  I have completed the Lakeland 100 trail run in June 2013, and then the Western States, 100 mile endurance run in California in June 2014. I have also ran in the Alps at CCC in 2012, and have completed numerous 50k, 50 mile and 100k runs. I ran the Lavaredo Ultra trail in June 2015, 120km with 6000 metres of climb. The backdrop to the run was amazing, the scenery was breathtaking. I also enjoy cycling, as it is a nice break from running, and have completed a few endurance events also.
