I joined boot camp initially & then started running back in 2010. Prior to that I was a workaholic and a couch potato. Over the last few years I've entered a variety of different events always looking for new adventures to challenge myself and to push the boundaries. When I saw The Race I knew this would more than do the job & it had to be my next challenge to take my body & mind to the ultimate test of strength & endurance. This 24hour event will be my biggest test and I am looking forward to conquering Ireland's toughest challenge!!
Completed Ironman 70.3 Dublin Triathlon in 2015 and 2016.
Cycled from Carlow to Cardiff to raise funds for the IRFU Charitable Trust.
Ran back-to-back marathons in 2014. My first ever marathon was in Dublin and 6 days later I ran the New York marathon, while raising in excess of €5,000 for the Irish Cancer Society.
Completed Tough Mudder, Hell & Back, various 5k, 10k and half marathons.
I’m also a keen hill walker. I completed the Four Peaks Challenge in 2011 while raising funds for Focus Ireland. I climbed Carrountoohill in Kerry, Melwree in Mayo, Slieve Donard in County Down and Lugnaquilla in Wicklow all in one weekend. I’ve also completed a number of Parachute Jumps for different charities.
