Background (Reasons for attempting The Race)

In 2006 I was 15 and a half stone with health issues and I was told by my doctor to loose weight and start exercising, so I started by pushing my son in his buggy and progressed from short walks to short runs...After many events since then I have decided to take on The Race 2017 as an ultimate goal to show my kids that any challenge is possible in life once you put your mind to it.

Experience

6 Full Marathons - 2 ultra marathons - countless triathlons, duathlons and aquathons - 2 half Ironmans and 1 adventure race.
