Background
Hi, real name Padraig Lynch but most would call me Paudie. I've been active practically all my life. I played Gaelic football from an early age till retirement when I went into Management/Training of my local team. Over the past 10yrs I have taken part in a number of Triathlons, Endurance Races, Challenges and have done a number of charity events raising much needed funds. I am looking for new challenges all the time and my reason behind entering is this looks like one hell of a challenge, makes it's very interesting to me as there is so many disciplines involved. My training regimes can be very old style, I do not like stationary equipment, prefer using my own body weight, using items like kettlebells, ropes are common. When training for runs or cycles, in my opinion I believe spending every last minute doing the one discipline is wrong. Body should be kept flexible and versatile at all times. Hopefully I'll make it to the finish line. In my world "Nothing is Impossible". Do your best, do the distance and be proud.
