My first competitive sport was running. Having conquered three marathons with a PB of 2.46, I then tried my hand at duathlons and triathlons Sprint and Olympic distance. From there I went on to represent Ireland at the World Age Group Duathlon Championships in Italy. Bike racing came next where I have raced in everything from local races to some of the toughest races in Ireland, including the gruelling 8-day An Post Rás. Recently I have taken to adventure racing. Having competed in many races in Donegal I am ready to take on ‘The Race.’
