The Beast from the east messed up THE RACE for me last year and I couldn't make the new date so hopefully all will go to plan this time. This will be my 3rd time taking part and although I turn 50 this year the excitement of THE RACE makes me feel like a kid. Im not quite sure what it is , perhaps its the people involved , the setting or the way THE RACE tests you to the limits but it just gets under your skin and I cant wait to be standing on the start line again.
